This evenly distributes the product and ensures the first touch to your face isn't too intense, preventing blotches (unless you're intentionally "baking"!).

2. Push, Rock & Release: Gently push the puff with the powder onto the desired areas of your face. The motion is a graceful "push, rock, and release." This technique presses the powder into your skin rather than just sweeping it on, creating a seamless, long-lasting finish.

Technique 2: The Blending & Softening Maestro

• Spray & Blend: After applying your powders, I either spray my favorite finishing spray directly onto the face or directly onto the velour puff. Then, using the familiar "push, rock, and release" motion, I lightly press the puff into any areas that look powdery. • Enhanced Setting: The same technique applies to your setting spray. Whether you spray it directly on your face or the puff, pressing it in with the velour puff ensures the spray reaches all areas, helps blend any potential blotchiness from the spray, and even helps that sometimes-sticky feeling of a setting spray dissipate quicker!

1. Blotting Shine: On hot summer days or during an outdoor event where sweat is inevitable, simply take your velour puff and lightly blot the sweaty areas. It absorbs excess moisture without disturbing your makeup.
